Fishing Report April 27, 2008

The Walk family of Diamond Head, MS and New Iberia, LA visited the Lodge for 3 days. The fishing was not good, but they enjoyed the staff and the great food!
Bryan & Julia Saliba with Brenda Hulse of Hattiesburg, MS fished some of the same days as the Walk family, however, they chose to fish the back waters and they caught 49 Pinto, 19 Mojarra, 12 Bluegills, and 16 Guapote, along with some other backwater fishes.
Joe Tedesco and 2 of his buddies, Gary Mellwig, & Brian Noreski began fishing the day the Walk family left, the fishing was good. In 5 days they jumped 23 and boated 9 tarpon, along with 1 bonita, 1 king, 2 jacks and some catfish!
Sam and Phil Swisher jumped 7 tarpon, boated 3 and also 2 kings.
