Fishing Report May 21, 2007

All the fishing is outside the mouth of the river, in the Carribean.

Phil Hoover of Naples, Florida has been fishing since May 12th with fishing guide Luis Perez, and has jumped 90 tarpon, many over 130lbs, and he has boated 16 fishing conventional and fly. Phil has made over 60 return visits to the Rio Colorado Lodge. He knows a good thing when he find one!

Heath Nichol of San Diego, California fishing May 16 to 19 with fishing guide Wendell, has jumped 28 tarpon and boated five!

Roberto Guillen, Jorge Torres and Jose Jiminez from San Jose came for a one day trip May 18th . They jumped 9 tarpon and boated three in the morning, so they decided to drink and fish for blue gills in the afternoon to avoid further abuse to their muscles!
