Fishing Report February 12, 2007

The weather has been beautiful, clear skies, a little warm during the day when there is no breeze.
This week totals are as of Sunday evening, 86 tarpon jumped and 28 to the boat!! Six snook were caught in one afternoon by Roy Haskell and Ray Duff of Arizona. They also jumped 6 tarpon and boated two.
Sara and Ron Hendrickson of Fairbault, Minnesota, boated one tarpon of the 4 they jumped.
Neal Orser of Pennsylvania and Greg Evans of New Jersey jumped 15 tarpon and boated one in just one day!
Carolyn and Ed Milner of Baton Rouge, Louisiana jumped 8 tarpon and boated 2 in two days.
Richard Moldenhauer of E. Aurora, New York jumped 11 tarpon and boated four in 2 days on fly and conventional tackle.
Michael Buck and Thorston Kramm visited us from Germany. In three days they jumped 25 tarpon and boated 9, they were fishing both conventional and fly.
Bob and Patricia Tarver, along with Jennifer Reap have jumped 17 tarpon and boated 6.
All of the action has beein in the river mouth just inside the breakers and outside on the rip line.
