Fishing Report ending July 6, 2005

Russell Moore and son Andrew Moore from Sarasota Florida jumped (hooked and saw) 26 tarpon in two days landing 6 fish over 100 lbs. Several were in the 150 pound range.

June 28th
James Fetter of Sumtner SC made a one day trip and boated so many tarpon on the ocean that he returned for two more days July 2 and 3rd. On this trip he landed 6 total snook 3 were over 15 pounds while surf fishing at agua dulce near the lodge.

We are seeing lots of mating sea turtles on ther way into the beach to lay eggs while tarpon fishing off shore in the last several weeks and have caught an unusual amount of small sharks while jigging for tarpon with artificial lures.
