Fishing Report September 3, 2007

Fishing usually gets red hot before and after the approach of a hurricane when the barometeric pressure swings strong, so we have had great fishing and are expecting more in the next days!

Ken Sharp, Dunny Green and Mark Lishen from Long Beach, MS. jumped 17 tarpon and boated 9 on a 3 day trip August 25 - 28.

Bryan Saliba and Julia Garita on a 4 day trip boated 23 nice yellow fin, and black fin tuna; several over 30 pounds. They also boated mojarra, snook and 2 guapote (rainbow bass) in the 7 - 8 lb. range.

Jim Croner of PA. fishing fly only jumped 6 tarpon and boated 2 on Sunday September 2, and jumped 2 Monday September 3rd. Jim's total at the end of his visit, 11 boated, 4 on fly.
