Fishing Report January 1, 2007

HAPPY NEW YEAR...
During the last few weeks of the holidays, Tarpon action on the ocean has been good, and the bite up river has started.

Rick Wall of Livingston, MT. fishing fly, only jumped 5 big tarpon! He boated 21 keeper fat Snook (Calba).

Bryan Saliba and Julia Gartia boated 7 keeper fat Snook (Calba)and they released many smaller ones. They also boated several nice size rainbow bass, one 7 pounder.

Dwight and Dawson Daughtry of FLorida boated at least 20 nice Calba.

Lonnie Miller of Mt. Pleasant, SC. over two days jumped 2 nice size Tarpon, 1 Baracuda, and boated a nice Snook.

Al and Peggy Wilson of Elmyra, OR. arrived on New Years Day. Peggy boated her first Tarpon, an 80 pounder, putting her husband to shame!!
