Fishing Report May 13, 2007

The fishing has been RED HOT!! The action for BIG tarpon is in the river mouth and just off shore.

Karen Koen of Little Rock, AR. and Lisa Brunetti of MS. jumped 25 tarpon and boated 7 in two days!

Don & Dana Koen also of Little Rock fished May 6 and 7. They jumped 20 tarpon and boated 4, with one of those weighing over 150 lbs.

Repeat guest, Jim Croner from Philadelphia, fishing with a fly rod, hooked 15 and boated 8 in two days May 10 and 11.

Another repeat guest, Phil Hoover of Naples, FL is still here fishing, but during his first 2 days fishing alone, he has jumped 35 tarpon and boated 7.

May fishing is really good. A few years back a group of 20 men in the FLorida Fun Fishermen Club jumped 670 tarpon and boated 172 in three days.
