Fishing Report October 30, 2006

We are doing all our fishing in the ocean right now. The last two days we had hard morning rains and clear afternoons with red hot tarpon fishing. The boats have had triple and double hook-ups! We are still catching some yellow fin and black fin tuna, wahoo and triple tail, a delightfully unexpected surprise while tarpon fishing. Guest are enjoying these special treats at the dinner table.

A group of six anglers from various locations, Jeff Pfent, Dave Munson, Dan Harrigan, Michael Fay and Chris Kornacki, all hosted by Craig Pfent jumped 68 tarpon and boated 26 in the last three days!

Anthony Nicklow and Joe Pancotto of Minnesota arrived at the Lodge Sunday the 29th and while fishing the first 2 hours in the afternoon they jumped 4 tarpon and boated two.

Fishing is HOT!!
