Fishing Report Ending April 23, 2006
The weather has been hot with clear skies, fishing mostly in the ocean and river mouth. The bite in the afternoon has been the strongest.
This week Chantale Sabo and her husband Otto from Markham Ontario, boated 12 tarpon and jumped over 30 in 5 days. Several were over 150lbs. In addition, they caught numerous huge Jack Crevale.
April 19th John Feeley of Miami came for a one day inspection trip and jumped 3 tarpon and boated two over 120lbs all in the morning. He had had enough and chose to take a jungle tour in the afternoon to look for the more peaceful catch of snook.
Ryo Sugindi of Osaka Japan jumped 20 tarpon and boated 6 in the two days April 22, 23rd he visited us.
