Fishing Report October 19, 2008

Fishing has been really good in the Rio Colorado Lodge area.

We had a group of anglers from Brazil fishing with us last week. These guys had an excellent trip. Thiago and William Araujo jumped 11 tarpon, boated 2, and 1 baracuda.
Higashi Takeshi, and Paulo Costa jumped 6, boated 3, plus 2 tuna (one of which weighed 30+lbs. and 1 jack. Antonio Pascual, and Vandil jumped 11 and boated 6 tarpon. Paulo Lopes and Reinaldo Ienne jumped 9, boated 4 and 1 jack. Claudio Mattos, and Arnolo Rimera jumped 16 and boated 4 tarpon.

Another group from Georgia and Mississippi had a good experience also. Tracy & Danny Pope, Linda Kay Randolph spent most of their time just touring around the area, while Charles & Connie Saunders jumped 18 tarpon, boated 3, plus 2 tuna and 1 jack.
